Fifty-nine inches of the tilma image, standing: Mary's gown, her star-covered mantle, the moon and angel at her feet and the rays behind her. Guadalupe is the apparition that converted a continent; within a decade of 1531 millions had been baptized. Our Lady is asked for the protection of families, the unborn and migrants, and honored on December 12.
