The Virgin of Tepeyac stands here at thirty-eight inches, her mantle of stars over a rose-colored gown, hands folded, the crescent moon and angel beneath her, the sun's rays framing the figure. Juan Diego's tilma has hung in her basilica since 1531. She is asked for the safety of families and for the peoples of the Americas, whose patroness she is.
Thirty-eight inches is a garden and grotto height for a side chapel, parish courtyard, school hallway or a covered outdoor shrine ahead of December 12.
