No saint stands in more gardens than Francis of Assisi, and the reason is the Canticle of the Creatures, the song he made near the end of his life praising God for Brother Sun, Sister Moon, Sister Water and Mother Earth. He died in 1226; his feast is October 4, and he is patron of animals and of ecology.

Thirty-one inches is the classic garden St. Francis: a bed of herbs, a grotto, a patio corner, a school courtyard, a cemetery plot or the yard of a veterinary clinic. It is given for a new house with a garden.

Made of a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and hand-painted by artisans, each statue finished individually. Available in Standard full-color, Fancy full-color with gold detail (indoor), or Monotone finish, sealed for interior or exterior placement.
